Thai Airways International is the flag carrier of Thailand and is headquartered at its primary hub, Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok. As of January 2026, the airline is undergoing a significant fleet and network recovery following its emergence from corporate rehabilitation.
- Fleet Modernization: In 2026, the airline is aggressively expanding its narrowbody fleet with the arrival of several Airbus A321neo aircraft, which feature fully lie-flat beds in Business Class for short- and medium-haul routes. The carrier is also negotiating to lease additional Boeing 787 Dreamliners to reach a target of 100 aircraft by the end of the year.
- Network and Destinations: Thai Airways serves over 60 airports across 30 countries. In July 2026, the airline plans to resume daily nonstop service between Bangkok and Amsterdam after a 28-year hiatus.
