TSA Brings Back “Gateside Goodbyes” for TSA PreCheck Members
Great news, 90s rom-com lovers! You can once again chase your true love through the airport and stop them from getting on that plane! The TSA is bringing back “gateside greetings” for the first time in over two decades. This program is being piloted at 13 U.S. airports and allows eligible TSA PreCheck members to go through security and all the way to the gate without a ticket.
A quick goodbye before the security checkpoint will still be just fine for most travelers. However, there are many special situations where the ability to join a loved one on the other side is a great option! Now you can meet a friend for lunch on a long layover, help family members who need special assistance getting through the airport, or surprise a loved one you haven’t seen in a long time.

Families Welcome
Children are eligible to visit but must be entered on their parent/guardian’s reservation.
How do I add my children?
Add children to your registration using the “add visitor” option. You will need to log in to your portal when you get to the airport to show the TSA Officer that all people at the checkpoint are on the approved registration.
